The more information you provide, the more accurate and useful your quotation will be. Useful information includes the following: word count or character count for text content; number and approximate duration of audio assets; target language pairs; required delivery timelines; platform and build information for QA services; and any existing style guides, glossaries, or localisation kits you have developed.
